Just a quick note to say how much I love this man.
I love his heart and trust him with my life. He is an amazing dad and an even better husband. Slow to speak and quick to forgive.
He embraces his calling, preaching the Word and loving on people, with such passion and conviction.
And he taught me that loving people is messy. It hurts sometimes. But the reward far outweighs the risk.
“I’m better than I deserve” and “I love you, but nothing like He does” are 2 things that you will hear him say. A lot!
The last few months have been really hard on this sweet man of mine. When you give all you have and it isn’t enough, that’s hard to take. But he has handled everything with a grace that obviously was God given.
Yesterday was a big day for our family and I am so very proud to announce that John is the official Pastor at Trinity Baptist Church in Bristow, Ok.
We have bathed this town and church in prayer over the last 2 months and can’t wait to start loving on the sweet people who God has entrusted to us.
2012 is going to be such an amazing year for us and our church!

Praise the LORD! I know the people of Bristow will be blessed by your ministry there. I am thankful that God has opened a door for John to preach and serve.
Having been married to a preacher for almost 32 years, I know that a God-called preacher HAS to preach and he and his family are lots happier when he is preaching!
I am thankful for all the ways the LORD is working in your lives and thankful you are sharing it with us.
God bless you,
Ladonna
